The coast is an obvious starting point for a visual story about the Dominican Republic. The water, the light and the palms are immediately recognisable. But a personal journal should also make room for the country beyond the holiday image.
Piantini is part of the city story this journal wants to tell: density, architecture, streets and the pace of urban life. Placing that perspective alongside the beach creates a fuller editorial direction. City and coast do not need to compete for attention.
The most personal stories will come from specific details: a familiar corner, a building seen at a different hour, a beach remembered for more than its view. Those details should come from lived experience and properly identified photography, rather than a generic travel list.
